As a reminder, here is an overview about what Content Links are:

If you haven't added any Content Links yet, first you'll need to click on 'Member Pages' in your top navigation > make sure you have added at least one Member Page > click Manage Content Links in the left side menu > click Add Content Links.

Content Link types

Below are the different types of Content Links you can have along with the member interactions options:

PDF Content Links:
- Show in browser when the link is clicked 
- Download the PDF when the link is clicked

Video Content Links (security details):
- Popup the video when the link is clicked 
- Turn the link automatically into an embed of the video (without a click)

Audio Content Links (mp3 only):
- Download the mp3 when the link is clicked
- Turn the link automatically into an embed audio player (without a click)

Image Content Links:
- Download the image when the link is clicked
- Popup the image when the link is clicked 
- Turn the link automatically into an embed of the image (without a click)

HTML Content Links:
- Turn the link automatically into an embed output of the HTML (without a click)

File Content Links:
- Anything that is not a PDF, image, mp3, HTML, or video counts as a file
- Download the file when the link is clicked

Before adding Content Links

Before adding your Content Links to your Member Pages, you should edit them to make sure the following fields are how you want them:

You can always edit these fields in the future, but if you change "What can members do with this content" you'll need to manually replace that Content Link you placed on any Member Pages.

How to add download/popup Content Links

This is for PDFs, images, videos, mp3s, or files

1. Start by clicking 'Copy' for the Content Link:If for some reason you can't click copy, instead right click the 'Link' to the right of 'Copy' and then click 'Copy link address'.
2. Make sure you are logged into your Webflow backend.
3. Click the Pages icon on the left:
4. Find the page you want to add the Content Link to and click it.
5. Click the Add Elements icon in the top left. You can then add any type of link (e.g. text, button, block, etc.) In this example I'll select a Button:
6. Paste in the Content Link code you copied before into the URL field:
7. Double click the button to change its text and feel free to change the styling:

   

8. Lastly don't forget to 'Publish' your changes. To test this, you'll need to be on your live website (not the Webflow editor).

How to add embed Content Links

This is for videos, mp3s, images, or HTML

1. Start by clicking 'Copy' for the Content Link:If for some reason you can't click copy, instead right click the 'Link' to the right of 'Copy' and then click 'Copy link address'.
2. Make sure you are logged into your Webflow backend.
3. Click the Pages icon on the left:
4. Find the page you want to add the Content Link to and click it.
5. Click the Add Elements icon in the top left. You must use a Text Link:
6. Paste in the Content Link code you copied before into the URL field:
7. Double click the button to change its text to whatever text you want. This text will immediately transform into the embed when the page loads for your member:

   

8. Lastly don't forget to 'Publish' your changes. To test this, you'll need to be on your live website (not the Webflow editor).
