How to: Insert one Tegrity recording into another (or add more slides)
The following is a possible method of inserting additional PowerPoint slides or Tegrity recording into an existing recording. Note that this method is applicable for advanced users only.
- Create a new recording with the new slides. (You can record to your Sandbox course)
- Download the new recording. (Instructions: PC | Mac)
- Locate the recording *.mp4 file in the downloaded recording folder
<Username>is the name of the user logged into the machine
The *.mp4 file is in the <recording title>Class>Projector folder.
Mac
By default, the zip file will download to: Macintosh HD/Users/Username/Documents/My Tegrity Recordings/1stCourse__Lecture 6__/Class/Projector

- You&#;re ready to import the video to your existing recording. Please see the following article for instructions on importing video: How to Add a Video to a Recording.
Note: Older recordings may show a *.asf file in the Recording folder. The *.asf should be converted to mp4 prior to adding it to a new recording. You may use video editing software of your choice to convert the file, or you may upload the *.asf to Tegrity as a video file PC / Mac and download it again. Uploading the video file will convert it to *.mp4 since the update.
