Combat Flight Simulator 3 Battle For Europe PC Game
Pros: I have owned and played this game for approx. 3 years now. I would have to say it has replaced all my other WW2 combat flight sims, and even some of the modern jet sims pale in comparison. The bottom line in any sim is detail, detail, detail. This game has it in spades. The better your system, the better your experience. I'm running it on a XP MC (works on Vista too), Core 2 Duo, GTX graphics card, 4GB RAM, with HOTAS flight gear. Everything in the game is turned on and maxxxxed out! The flight and damage modeling, explosions, terrain, scenery, clouds, water, vehicles, and of course the aircraft are more realistic than in any other combat sim I've played to date. Like other MS flight sims, you can control weather, time, location, and other details for many of the flights. The game's AI pilots are better than most. In the absence of any really "new" WW2 flight sims, this one still holds its own.
Cons: There's not a CFS4. I can't count the flight hours in my log book.
Overall Review: Look for A*rcraft P*werpack to go with this game. New aircraft and senarios.
