OverviewDiablo is an isometric strategy RPG that takes place in and below the town of Tristram. In Diablo you use gothic fantasy weapons and spells to defeat hordes of monsters from hell through randomized dungeon levels, continuously gaining experience points, gold, and a variety of equipment to bolster your monster-killing potency along the way.
Diablo is a hack and slash RPG for the PSX(and other platforms). The Diablo series was the ruler of isometric hack and slash for many years and is revered by many gamers. This is the one that started it all! You choose your character and go smash the hordes of hell! Diablo's strengths include fun randomly generated levels that can be challenging and loot upon loot! The graphics and sound were decent for the time and did I mention that your opposition is the monster hordes of hell?? :) This game only has one serious drawback. The ending leaves a lot to be desired. That is about it on the downside. This is a great game and if you are not stuck on how pretty a game is, you will like this one if you are into dungeon crawler type games. Diablo consumed many many weeks of my life and I never regretted it. ;)
