Styling your Home for Autumn
30 October 2020

The colder weather is here and the nights are drawing in – but that just gives us an excuse for styling up our home for cosy Autumn evenings in (lockdown or not!).  We’ve picked some of our favourite Autumn styling choices for you to try at home…

Sumptuous textures and warm tones

In keeping with the Autumn tones outside, add a little navy, copper, gold, red, purple or chocolate to your home colour schemes for a perfectly fresh-Fall feel for your home.  Style with soft furnishings and accessories; pillows, throws and that delicious blanket you’ve had your eye on and curl up with your favourite tv show or book this Autumn season.

Wreaths on the door

Not just for Christmas, the Fall or Autumn wreath is making its mark this year.  Choose mix textures with rustic twine, twisted twigs, velvet ribbons in your favourite Autumn colours or keep it simple with real Autumn foliage.  Make your home inviting with a beautiful seasonal wreath.

Change up the Artwork

Refresh your home quickly with new artwork, or simply move some artwork around your home.  Breathe new life into your old rooms with a different look to your walls.  Simple and a fast fix for a new Autumn look.

Refresh your Hallway

Hallways are one of the most neglected areas of the home.  Usually a dumping ground for post, wellies, coats, scarfs, and all things outside orientated, the hallway often quickly becomes an eyesore.  Make your hallway inviting for you and any guests by creating a space that is well organised, open, and beautifully styled.  Opt for shelves for boxes of accessories like gloves, fake uhren hooks for coats and jackets, racks for wellies and muddy shoes.  Keep things off the floor for great space saving styling and enjoy coming home after a good Autumn walk.
